1) Excellent location - very near Hakodate JR Station, opposite Hakodate Morning Market, lots of food options nearby 2) Very friendly staff 3) There's also a lift in the property 4) Cleaning staff will replenish the essentials (via a plastic bag hanging OUTSIDE your doorknob) even if you put the "do not disturb" tag. Overall, had an excellent stay here :) Thank you to all the Hotel New Ote staff!

The hotel is located a quick walk from the JR train Station and/or Chuou Bus Station, and also not far from a number of good restaurants (or convenience stores, if you're looking for something more quick to eat). The building seems like it was converted into a hotel from an old office building, but the conversion was done well. It's a comfortable, homely, place to stay for a night or two.

The room is clean though the hotel outside view look old. closed to train station and tourist attractions are in walking distance. The famous restaurant is attached to the hotel lobby but the noise has not come in my room. Washing machine is on the top level very convenient.

Great location, 2 min walk from the train station. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Room was clean and facilities were great. Loved having a private bath and a vending machine right outside my door.

Front desk were all nice to talk with and very accomodating. Very near JR Hakodate station and plenty of restaurants and convinient stores.
